11th Winter School- Virtual

The Winter School, initiated by the CUTS Institute for Regulation & Competition (CIRC), is India’s first comprehensive programme on the application of economics to competition law and regulation.

The 11th Winter School introduces a specialised and development-oriented edition titled “Economics of Competition Law for Least Developed Countries (LDCs)”, designed specifically for policymakers, regulators, legal practitioners, researchers, academics, and development professionals from Asia and Africa.

The programme explores how competition law and regulatory frameworks can be adapted to address the structural realities of LDC economies, including informality, concentrated ownership, state-owned enterprises, resource dependence, and rapidly evolving digital markets. Through expert-led sessions, comparative case studies, policy simulations, and interactive discussions, participants will gain practical exposure to competition policy challenges and enforcement realities across developing economies.

Eligibility for LDC Category: The special LDC registration category is available only to participants from countries classified as Least Developed Countries (LDCs) by the United Nations. Participants registering under this category may be required to provide proof of nationality or residence in an eligible LDC country.
